Exploring the Human Condition

Introspective writings on grief, social critique, and the complexities of the human experience.

About the Author

My work is a deep dive into the intersections of grief and social critique. Through introspective essays and novels I seek to illuminate the raw, often overlooked aspects of the human condition, challenging the narratives that define our shared existence.

Silas

Nothing about this was inevitable.
Silas has always been good at carrying things alone. The mistakes, fractured relationships, and loss of the woman he loved. He has a quiet conviction that everything that goes wrong leads back to him.

When one reckless night sets off consequences among Silas and his friends, guilt takes on a shape of its own. Anger becomes violence; grief becomes something harder to recognize. As people and places that made his life feel whole disappear, Silas confronts the one person he has never forgiven.

Himself.

Silas is a literary tragedy about friendship, guilt, shame, grief, and the difference between what we are responsible for and what we convince ourselves we are.A story about the weight we carry, the people who help us carry it, and what happens when someone believes there is nothing left to hold on to.
